Community safety and mental health conference

On Tuesday 22 November, we partnered with the Local Government Association to run the Community Safety and Mental Health conference. The event was designed to improve the knowledge of community safety practitioners on mental health issues, and help demonstrate how mental health issues should inform strategic planning. Chaired by Cllr Les Lawrence from Birmingham, vice-chair of the LGA Safer and Stronger Communities Programme Board, speakers included Lord Keith Bradley, senior adviser on community safety at the LGA Chris Williams, and director of offender health, Richard Bradshaw.
