New guide published in collaboration with our service users
23 September 2010
Three members of our national service user forum – Colin Burns, Danny Mitchell and Kieran Payne – along with service user involvement coordinator Terry Murtagh, recently authored the Service User Involvement Guide.
Produced by Clinks, this publication is aimed at organisations working in the criminal justice system, providing advice on how to actually involve service users as opposed to just ticking a box to say you have consulted with them.
The guide addresses issues such as how to prepare service users and staff to work together on a project, how to establish what the right level of service user involvement is for your organisation and how to deal with potential problems that might arise.
Congratulations to Colin, Danny, Kieran and Terry for all their hard work producing this document, which you can download here.
