Feedback to us on SPARK service mapping

If you are aware of a service supporting people with multiple and complex needs in contact with the criminal justice system that is not included within our map of services, please let us know.

What kind of services?
We would like to hear about services which meet all of the following criteria:
- Work with adults (18+) of working age, or subsets of these (services for those aged 16+ where the majority of clients are over the age of 18 are eligible)
- Dedicated service for clients with multiple and complex needs; individuals experiencing several problems simultaneously (such as poor mental health, homelessness, offending and drug and alcohol misuse) which exacerbate and reinforce one another. They will have ineffective contact with mainstream services and live chaotic lives.
- At least half of their clients are in repeat contact with the criminal justice system – be it the police, courts, prison or probation – as offenders, or perpetrators of antisocial behaviour.
- Seek to address the whole range of their clients’ needs.
- View reducing re-offending and/or improving the health and well being of their clients as one of their key aims.
Exclusions
Revolving Doors are aware that there is a wide range of great projects to address the needs of people with social, health and emotional problems. However, the SPARK project is focusing on a very specific group of individuals and therefore unfortunately the call for evidence will not cover any of the following services:
- Services located outside England
- Services which provide whole-family interventions
- Services supporting those with a severe learning disability
- Residential rehabilitation centres for drug and alcohol recovery
- Accommodation for those who have demonstrated a significant period of stability and/or abstinence (such as ‘move-on’ accommodation or accommodation that provides only low levels of support)
- Services targeted primarily at victims of crime
- Services targeted at serious sexual and violent offenders only
We are also interested in hearing about how local agencies in your area work together to provide holistic and joined-up service responses for people who require a response from multiple local services. If your local area has multi-agency partnership arrangements (other than MAPPA) that specifically aim to improve responses for adults with multiple and complex needs in contact with the criminal justice system then please send us an email to tell us more about these arrangements.
How to get in touch
email us directly with information on the service, including the service name and a web address or service contact details.
