Service mapping

Our learning from the last 10 years has taught us that the provision of services designed to meet the needs of people with multiple problems in repeat contact with the criminal justice system can vary significantly around the country. While our experience of working with partners in specific localities has informed this understanding, the national picture has, until now, remained elusive.

We have become increasingly aware that while there are a number of excellent services and innovative partnerships achieving positive outcomes for their clients and the wider community, the existence of these services is not always well-known within a wider field of practitioners. We hope that this resource proves to be a valuable tool for individuals working across a range of agencies in identifying local services to meet the needs of their clients within the 'revolving doors' group.

In addition, it is hoped that this will provide a useful starting point for commissioners in considering the service provision within their area, and at a national level, for policy makers in gaining an insight into the broader perspective.

How to use the map

Use the mouse or the navigation tools on the left hand side of the map to start exploring services in your area.

Simply click on the map pin of interest and an overview of the selected service along with its contact details will be displayed.  Additional information about the service, including referral details, can be found below the map.

Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information provided, but we need your help to keep this up to date. If you are aware of a service that has been omitted, please let us know so this resource can evolve over time.  We are conscious that within the current financially constrained climate and cuts in public spending that services may become decommissioned.

Please use the contact form to notify us of any errors or omissions relating to services.

Owing to the sensitive nature of some services, it has not always proved possible to provide address details for all services. Where this is the case, an approximate location will appear, and you should contact the service directly for further information.
