Revolving Doors Agency is the UK's only charity dedicated to improving the lives of people who are caught up in a damaging cycle of crisis, crime and mental health problems. Our mission is to create opportunities for people caught up in this cycle and help transform their lives.
We have recently received the backing of several major funders to restructure the organisation, in order to achieve even more in terms of influencing the development of policies and the implementation of services for this group. A new Chief Executive will start with us on 1 July 2009 and he, together with the existing Director of Development and Partnerships and the new Director of Service User Involvement, will make up the Senior Management Team that will help develop and implement the strategy of the Agency.
As our Director of Service User Involvement you will:
As it is a requirement of this position that you have personal experience of using criminal justice, mental health, homelessness or substance use services, you will be asked to evidence the nature of your personal experience. You will also have a broad range of experience of developing service user involvement policies and initiatives and will be able to demonstrate high level achievements in this area. You will be ready to work hard and flexibly within a small and committed team of professionals.
